The Human Resource Integration has transpired. The Department of Health and Social Services has a Management Consultant Services Team and a Technical Services Center assigned to the department. The Juneau offices are located on the 1st floor of the Alaska Office Building, the Anchorage Technical Service Center is located on the 5th floor of the Frontier Building, and the Anchorage Management Consultant Services Team will be located in the Atwood Building the week of November 10th. Attached a list of employees and the functions they perform, in order to assist you in finding the service that you need. There will be changes as the integration is further defined; we appreciate you working with us as these changes occur.
Management Consultant Services Team
Gail White, in the Management Consultant Services Team will continue to work with managers on performance issues, performance evaluations, and will be the contact for any probationary employee issues. Gail's assignment will include the Division of Longevity Programs. Gail can be reached at 269-7807 for the remainder of this week. An update on Gail's number will be sent out in the following weeks.
Chip Parr and Netta Crago (who comes to us from the Department of Corrections) will be working with the department institutions on disciplinary issues, investigations, grievances, and issues in general. The institutions include the youth facilities, Pioneer Homes, and API. Chip can be reached at 465-1638. Netta can be reached at 465-1640.
Kimberley King and Susan Beal will be working with the remainder of the department on disciplinary issues, investigations, grievances, and issues in general. The Central and Northern Region will be assigned Susan, and the Southeast Region will be assigned to Kimberley. This may change depending on topic and workload. Technical Service Center
Teri Hill is the Payroll/Recruitment supervisor for the department. Teri can be reached at 465-1636. Teri's immediate supervisor will be Miki Cole who will also be working with the Department of Transportation. Cynthia Harrington has been announced as the lead payroll employee for the Anchorage office. Teri will be hiring a lead payroll employee for the Juneau office. At this time all recruitment and payroll contacts shall remain the same.
Good-byes
Shawnda Brooks is now working on the 10th floor of the State Office Building as a Classification supervisor. Fran Rabago has been assigned to the Management Consultant Services Team for the General Departmental Team. Edra Lewis Morledge and Cathy VonGemmingen have been assigned to the Management Consultant Services Team for the Resource Departments.
