The Child Care Program Office (CCPO) is the lead agency for the federal Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF) functions in the State of Alaska and includes the following programs: Child Care Assistance; Child Care Licensing; Child Care Grant; Alaska Inclusive Child Care; and Child Care Resource and Referral.
The CCPO monitors, regulates, and licenses child care facilities and promotes quality child care through a grant to Alaska’s statewide Child Care Resource and Referral Network, thread.
The CCPO promotes access to child care with a priority for children of families with low to moderate income and children with special needs.

The Child Care Program Office (CCPO) has three offices located in Anchorage, Fairbanks, and Juneau. The CCPO main office is located in Anchorage.
