The regional managers, IT managers and chiefs had an extremely productive planning session today, April 02. The prime objective was to discuss upcoming changes and design performance measures for each unit that could be implemented as part of our focus on process improvement.
We discussed the DHSS reorganization and the DPA's role in that process. We discussed our integration of the EED Childcare unit, the ultimate handoff of Adult Public Assistance to the new Division of Senior and Disability Services and a new organization chart for our Division. While recognizing that change is always difficult, we hope the coming changes will be positive for all staff. Your managers are committed to keeping you informed of all the Division's changes that will affect your work environment. We believe every process on the drawing board is geared toward making us more successful and productive. Please talk with your regional managers so that your needs and concerns can become part of the planning discussion.
