Due to the volume of benefits, it is taking more time to process the Medicaid and Chronic and Acute Medical Assistance (CAMA) coupons issued by the mid-month Med Regular/Immediate Med Run jobs. We will not be scheduling an Immediate Med run the day following this job in the future.
MANUAL CHANGE #25 AND REVISED NOTICES
Medical Assistance Manual Change #25 is back from the printers and is being
mailed to all district offices this week. This manual change includes new policies,
manual sections, clarifications, and technical corrections. A summary of changes
is listed in the cover memo with the manual change instructions.
Over the years, the Division has participated in the campaign to inform Alaskan workers about Earned Income Tax Credit. The Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) is a federal tax credit that can help many of our clients in their effort to become self-sufficient.
In an effort to increase network security the password for all staff and provider accounts has been changed effective January 22, 2003. These accounts are office specific and are used by contractors, temporary and mobile staff for network access.
