MANUAL CHANGE #25 AND REVISED NOTICES
Medical Assistance Manual Change #25 is back from the printers and is being
mailed to all district offices this week. This manual change includes new policies,
manual sections, clarifications, and technical corrections. A summary of changes
is listed in the cover memo with the manual change instructions.

Effective February 1, 2003, five Medicaid and four Denali KidCare notices are
revised to reference manual section 5000-4, the new Verification section. These
notices include:
D201 - Denali KidCare Denied / Info not received
D301 - Denali KidCare / Request for Information
D303 - Renewal - Information Needed
D304 - Request Info for Retroactive Coverage
M020 - Request for Information on Medicaid Case
M201- Medicaid Denied - Failure to Provide
M301 - Information Needed
M304 - Retro-Med Pended - Information Needed
M401 - Medicaid Closed - Failure to Provide
Also effective February 1, 2003, notice M111 - Special Medicaid Coupon is revised
to reference manual section 5526, the new Disability Determination section.
