Just a quick update on what has happened with the BPR (Business Process Redesign) and what’s coming!
What’s Happenin’: Last week the CIA team (Change & Innovation Agency) completed the assessments for Kenai and Coastal 1 & 2 (not including LTC staff). Many thanks to the staff for meeting with the CIA team to explain what steps you are currently taking on applications so CIA has a solid foundation from which to work. We totally understand how busy you currently are, so by investing the time now will build capacity in the future. Thank you!
What’s coming: In briefly speaking with the CIA team, they are very encouraged about assisting us with increasing our capabilities to complete our work in a more efficient manner in the months to come. Assessments for the field staff in Fairbanks, Ketchikan, Mat-Su and Gamble will be occurring within the next 4 weeks.
Additionally, Aimee and I are continuing to pursue several options for an Electronic Document Management (EDM) system which will have a huge return on investment for our Division—stay tuned, more to come on this!
In closing and on a different but related note: Sean, Aimee and I would like to extend our sincere appreciation to the field staff in Kenai, Bethel and Nome, along with the staff from the Fraud Control Unit, Quality Assessment Units, and System Operations in Anchorage for meeting with us so we could grasp a better understanding of the challenges you face and the work that you do. This was a continuation of the field visits we completed a few months ago
Thank you and have a wonderful week!
