Mat-Su Staff Play Santa to local family

Another year, another inspiring holiday gesture from the staff of the Mat-Su office.

The office played Santa for a single mother with cancer. This mother has five children. Bob Morgan, the Santa delivery elf, said the children were dancing with joy as they helped haul in the colorfully wrapped packages. It was a Christmas from the heart.

In Bob Morgan's words,
"The entire office participated in collecting money, buying and then wrapping gifts, any purchasing a gift certificate for a Christmas dinner. Santa's 'sleigh' was a Red Subaru wagon (appropriate color). When I arrived at the house, I was greeted by five children and Bruno (a very large dog). The children were very excited at seeing all the gifts and all wanted to help. So, Santa's chubby DPA elf had plenty of help carrying in the gifts and placing them under the Christmas tree. The mom was able to come out of the bedroom (very sick and moving very slow). She had a smile on her face and a tear in her eye when she saw what had been done and how happy the children were. She then proceeded to "HUG THE STUFFING OUT OF ME", and thanked our entire staff. We have done this for the past several years, but this was the most moving and pleasant SANTA experience this chubby elf has ever had."
