The CCAP is administered by the State of Alaska CCPO via grantees who deliver services statewide. Current grants have been in place since 2008 and are ending at the end of this fiscal year (June 30, 2012). The new grant cycle begins July 1, 2012, and will not affect families’ or child care providers’ participation in the CCAP or their current eligibility.

The CCPO, along with the current and new grantees, is collaborating on a seamless transition plan to ensure continuity in the delivery of CCAP services to all customers. The CCPO, via the US Postal Service, will notify families, child care providers participating in the CCAP, and related partner agencies of the specifics regarding the successful Child Care Assistance grantee for their community as soon as possible. The new grantees will also be reaching out to the communities within their service delivery area(s) to partner and make CCAP information readily available for families and providers.

Questions regarding the transition may be sent to ccpo@alaska.gov or you may call the Child Care Program Office at 907-269-4500 or toll free at 1-888-268-4632.

The State of Alaska awarded grants for the CCAP to grantees through an open competitive Request for Proposal (RFP) process. Please click the link below to view the original Request for Proposals for more information:
