Dee worked as an Eligibility Technician at the Juneau District Office for 3 years and has 25 years experience with other public programs including 15 years with Housing and Urban Development and 10 years with the Department of Labor. She has a broad range of public program experience including drafting policies based on new and revised federal and state laws and regulations.
Tama Carson has been hired as the policy specialist for Adult Public Assistance, Senior Benefits and General Relief Assistance. Tama worked as an Eligibility Technician in the Juneau District Office for 3 years and was a member of the QA team for 4 years. In that time she gained valuable experience working with all Public Assistance programs and explaining policy to field staff.
Both Dee and Tama are dedicated to developing policy to benefit needy Alaskans and explaining new and existing policies to field staff in ways that are easily understood. Please join us in welcoming them to our team!
