“Great people are those who make others feel that they, too, can become great." ---Mark Twain
Please join me in recognizing and congratulating three of DPA’s Stars that model and inspire this attitude every day. Collectively, these Stars have dedicated more than 50 years of service to DPA and devote countless hours toward our mission “to Promote Self Sufficiency and provide for basic living expenses to Alaskans in need”
Congratulations and Many Thanks, Stars!
This DPA star is known for her expertise in her field as well as in the other "field" of sports. According to some, her only flaw is loyalty to Green Bay! She is acclaimed for her knowledge of EIS and Medicaid. This DPA Star also loves children and her little pooch, Coal. Can you guess who it is?

This DPA Star started her career with DPA in Bethel even though she is Canadian… eh? She now gives heart to her work in Long Term Care, is an avid reader and still has time to be a devoted hockey Mom. Her co-workers love her and one has even put a jinx on her so she will never leave DPA. Ever…

This DPA Star is loved and respected by her staff for her commitment, hard work and fair management style. She tried retiring once but we brought her back. In her free time this Star loves to spend time reading, watching movies and being with her grandson.

Please remember DPA Stars is an easy way to show appreciation for colleagues and coworkers. Take a moment to nominate that special person who inspires you, represents the agency in an exemplary manner, or goes the extra mile to help clients and email your nomination to DPA Stars. It’s easy, here’s the link:
