The DPA Child Care Program Office is pleased to announce the list of child care providers who are Licensed or Approved to care for children in Alaska has been updated and is now posted online. The list can be accessed through the Division of Public Assistance's main page by clicking on "Child Care," then "Child Care Facilities Database." The online child care provider database allows users to perform a search of child care providers who are eligible to receive payments through the PASS I, II, and III Child Care Assistance Programs, and providers whose approval is pending. The database does not include in-home child care providers.
Users can search for a child care provider by using one or more search criteria. Definitions of codes used for the child care provider type and status are attached to this broadcast. The definitions are also available through the link provided above.
