December DPA Stars

Seasons Greetings to all! Following the Thanksgiving holiday, it is more than appropriate to say 'Way to GO! and THANKS' to our two latest DPAStars!

This well dressed star has been with DPA for approximately 20 years. His ability to calm a lobby is phenomenal. He always is willing to assist both our internal and external customers. He enjoys training and mentoring staff and sharing his vast knowledge of our business and the community. This star has a long list of accomplishments. Some may recall attending a Departmental Employee of the Year ceremony at the Egan Center where this star received the award. Lately, you may see this star accessorizing with a cobalt blue cast on his right hand. He seems to be frequenting the doctor's offices and emergency rooms more often to repair his aches and pains. While most of us who played competitive sports are settling for low-impact aerobics and golf, this star's passion for the basketball court still draws him to play. He is, by the way, aka "Dollar-Bill", Anchorage basketball legend. Can you guess who this star is?

DPA Star

Our next star came to us from the Seattle Public Assistance office and now resides in the Anchorage area. This star is truly a team player. She is consistently described as someone that is willing to help and step in when she sees a need. Her co-workers agree whenever there's a task that needs done, this star jumps in and gives it her all. Her smile and laughter brightens up the atmosphere wherever she goes. She is fair, knowledgeable, resourceful, positive, hard working, dedicated, and a caring friend and co-worker. She consistently displays a positive attitude not only to her clients, but also to everyone around her. And apparently, she can throw a pretty good "pearl" party as well. Can you guess who this star is?
