OVERVIEW OF CHANGES
MS 100-4 A CIVIL RIGHTS POLICY
- Updated the term handicap to disability
MS 100-4 B CIVIL RIGHTS COMPLAINT DEFINITION
- Updated the term handicap to disability
MS 100-4 C RECEIVING CIVIL RIGHTS COMPLAINTS
- Added information that a response must be sent to the client when a Civil Rights complaint is received that includes how the agency reached a decision
MS 101-4 RECEIPT OF AN IDENTIFIABLE APPLICATION
- Added reference to the policy manuals for program specific policy regarding acceptable signatures
MS 103-2 REQUEST FOR SERVICE
- Revised to include updated process
- Removed old subsection D "Storing Request for Service Applications" and subsection E "Retaining and Destroying Request for Service Applications
- Added new subsection C "Applicant Provides the Completed Application." The old subsection C "Applicant Fails to Complete the Application Process" is renumbered to subsection D
MS 106-5 INSTANT ELIGIBILITY VERIFICATION SYSTEM (IEVS)
- Updated to include new sources
- Added information on how a caseworker should act on information obtained in IEVSInstant Eligibility Verification System
MS 107-2 B PROCEDURE FOR PROCESSING REPORTS OF CHANGE
- Updated the process when a report of change is received by the office to align with current workflow process
- Added reference link to Administrative MS 104-4I for additional information when a report of change is received
MS 107-2 C FLOWCHART FOR PROCESSING REPORTS OF CHANGE
- Removed reference to Addendum A as it does not match the current workflow process
- Renumbered subsection D "Standard Alerts and Tasks Used in EISEligibility Information System and ARIESAlaska's Resource for Integrated Eligibility Services" to subsection C
MS 109-10 CASE MANAGERS USE OF CANO
- Added link to WSPWork Service Procedure MS 1007
MS 114 CASE REVIEWS
- Renamed section from "Quality Assurance" to "Case Reviews" due to the Quality Assurance team being renamed to the Statewide Case Review team
- Revised quality assurance terminology to case reviews
MS 114-1 SUPERVISORY REVIEWS AND MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES
- Renamed section to include Supervisory Case Reviews
- Added additional reference tools for case reviews
- Removed reference to the GEN 57 form as this is not a case review feedback form
MS 114-2 PROCEDURES
- Revised section with updated guidance on case reviews
- Revised quality assurance terminology to case reviews
- Added links to case review guidelines and guides
MS 116-2 APPLICATION PROCESSING
- Removed paragraph indicating that DPADivision of Public Assistance accepts interviews conducted by NFAPNative Family Assistance Program agencies as this is no longer allowed
ADDENDUM 107 A RESERVED
- Removed the report of changes workflow chart since it does not match the current process for when changes are received by the office
