114-2 PROCEDURES
Reviewers should be assigned to review cases completed by all caseworkers in an office, and for all programs, in a quantity to assure the integrity of individual error rates figures and office performance.
Case Review References and Guides can be located in the SharePoint in the Case Review Folder. https://sp.dhss.alaska.gov/dpa/staffresources/Case%20Reviews/Case%20Reviews
Reviewers use the Case Review Guide found in the SharePoint as reference tool when completing case reviews. All documentation regarding case reviews and errors analysis are completed in the Case Review System. The Eligibility Case Review Program User's Guide is available to assist workers and reviewers to navigate through the system. Case reviews will be entered into Current™ and assigned to the Eligibility Technician following the Case Review Assignment in Current™ Guide in the SharePoint.
All case reviews should be responded to within 3 business days. The worker should check the Case Review Tool daily for items that need to be addressed. Once the caseworker has responded, the case review will be checked for completeness by the Reviewer within 7 business days.
Field staff are encouraged to discuss questions on cases with reviewers to ensure accurate interpretation of information during the review period. When the caseworker does not agree with an error finding, the worker should contact the Reviewer and follow the rebuttal procedure outlined in Rebuttal Procedures in the SharePoint.
