Several sections of the Administrative Procedures Manual have been revised. Highlights of the revisions are described below .

OVERVIEW OF CHANGE
 
MS 100-6A    DPA CONTRACTED TELEPHONE INTERPRETER SERVICE
- Updates the name and contact information for DPA’s contracted telephone interpreter service.
 
 
MS 100-8H    BREACH OR SUSPECTED BREACH OF CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION
- Clarifies the “received date” for breach or suspected breach of confidentiality.
 
 
MS 101-7       TIMELINESS STANDARDS
- Clarifies what date of receipt for applications submitted in DPA offices, to fee agents and NFAP, and applications placed in drop boxes.
 
 
MS 101-8       REGISTERING HOUSEHOLD MEMBERS LISTED ON THE APPLICATION
- Adds an exception to clarify that clerical staff are not required to add household members when registering a recertification.
 
 
MS 102-2       SCREENING
- Adds a note allowing clerical staff to screen GEN 50Bs for expedited service by reviewing the three questions on page A.
 
 
MS 103-3D    CASE NUMBERING ON EIS
- Adds a note under Working Disabled cases for couples in which both individuals are eligible and each person needs their own case number.
 
 
MS 103-6C    RECORD STORAGE PROCEDURES
- Updates the link for obtaining a copy of the Records Transfer List.
 
 
MS 104-4       ADVERSE ACTION CALENDAR
- Updates the information available in the Adverse Action Calendar – 30 day pend deadline.
 
 
MS 105-1B    MANDATORY VERIFICATION
- Corrects the information under the FS column in regards to requiring verification of residency.
 
 
MS 105-2       RESPONSIBILITY FOR PROVIDING VERIFICATION
 
MS 109    CASE NOTE DOCUMENTATION
- CANO Format: Adds instruction under Work Requirements/Disability/Penalties to document which track (FF/WF) would be assigned based on answers provided in the ITT.
 
- CANO Format with Prompts: Includes the same information added to CANO Format; deletes language that instructs staff to skip documenting residency and intent to stay in Alaska for FS-only cases; corrects the manual citing under MED from 109-H to 109-G.
 
- Addendum F: Adds WF and FF as commonly used acronyms.
 
 
MS 116-2    NFAP AND DPA CASE PROCESSING PROCEDURE
Clarifies the procedure for handling TA applications received in areas served by NFAP
