102-2 SCREENING
Prior to the interview or processing a mail-in application, a knowledgeable DPA staff member may screen the application to:
Provide the client
with a basic understanding of what type of verification materials
to bring to the eligibility interview
Refer the applicant
to other community resources; and
Schedule an eligibility interview, if required.
Note:
Each SNAP application
must be screened for entitlement to expedited service the same day the
application is received in the District Office.
Clerical staff may screen for entitlement to expedited service by reviewing
the three questions on page 7 of the GEN
50 C .
