1008-3          DETERMINING THE LENGTH OF THE EXTENSION

The length of the extension is based on the circumstances that provide eligibility for the extension.  The minimum length of an extension is one month.  Cases may not be extended for more than 12 months.  Extensions must be reevaluated two months prior to the end of the allowed extension.  The client must be engaged in FSSPFamily Self Sufficiency Plan activities that will resolve the issue(s) necessitating the extension.  The FSSPFamily Self Sufficiency Plan steps must confirm to WSPM 1002-3.

If the client's circumstances change during an extension, see ATAP MS 701-3 E 2.
