1023-10       PORTFOLIO DEVELOPMENT

The Portfolio is considered a visual representation of the job seeker’s contributions and interests. It “demonstrates” through words and pictures the best of what the job seeker offers a potential employer. The DS incorporates photos taken during Discovery observations that “show” the job seeker engaged in work-related tasks. All photos need to reinforce the capability of the job seeker and present him/her in the best light including examples of an item they have produced or that represent an accomplishment. Once the Portfolio is approved by the job seeker, the DS must move forward with Customized Employment activities.

Note:
Some job seekers will prefer to not be photographed, and may decline.
