Several sections of the Administrative Procedures Manual have been revised. An overview of the changes are listed below.

OVERVIEW OF CHANGES
MS 100-3 CONFIDENTIALITY
- Added information about court visitor
- Clarified that DPADivision of Public Assistance is allowed to release information or files related to client's DPADivision of Public Assistance case with a signed Release of Information or court order
MS 100-9 REPORTING ABUSE AND NEGLECT
- Clarified that agents of the State of Alaska are required to report any suspicion of neglect and abuse involving adults and children
- Clarified DPADivision of Public Assistance staff and Work Services providers are required document the report using the GEN 56AReport of Contact to be uploaded into ILINX as confidential
MS 101-2 G SNAP ONLINE FORM
- Added SNAPSupplemental Nutrition Assistance Program online application form as an identifiable application
MS 104-4 B REQUEST FOR INFORMATION DEADLINE DATES
- Clarified that deadline for clients to provide information depends on the specific requirements of each program
MS 105-14 A VERIFICATIONS LAWFUL PRESENCE (VLP)
- Created new subsection to add VLPVerify Lawful Presence as a new FDSHFederal Data Services Hub interface
MS 108-2 B REQUIRED NOTICE CONTENT
- Clarified if neither standard nor non-standard deductions are factored into the determination, they do not need to be mentioned in the notice. However, for clarity, it would be advisable to inform the client that they did not qualify for any standard or non-standard deductions based on the information provided
MS 117-1 D TIME LIMITS TO REQUEST A FAIR HEARING
- Clarified that non-referral notice sent if fair hearing request not received timely
MS 121-3 D CARE OF A DPADivision of Public Assistance OFFICE AND MAILING BENEFITS
- Clarified that the caseworker is required to inform the client that the request for a Medicaid card sent to the DPADivision of Public Assistance office can only be made once and the request must documented into the CANOCase Notes
MS 121-14 B FORGERY PROCEDURES
- Revised forgery procedure that Division of Finance no longer requires a signed GEN 87Complaint Form form forwarded by BIRUBenefit Issuance & Recovery Unit
MS 122-5 ISSUING A QUEST CARD WITH A DPADivision of Public Assistance OFFICE MAILING ADDRESS
- Updated the process when field office requests EBTElectronic Benefit Transfer card be mailed to DPADivision of Public Assistance office per client request
