OVERVIEW OF CHANGES
MS 100-3 (E) SUBPOENAS AND COURT ORDERS
MS 100-3 (H) REQUESTS FOR INFORMATION FROM OTHER AGENCIES
- Added the Social Security Administration to the list of agencies that we can release information to without a signed release from the client due to clarification from Department of Law, and renumbered the list of agencies
MS 101-2 APPLICATION FORMS
- Added that Senior Benefits will accept the GEN 50C as an initial application
- Added that Senior Benefits will accept the GEN 72 to determine continued eligibility. This change is effective April 1, 2020.
MS 103-6 (C) RECORD STORAGE PROCEDURES
- Updated Record Officer's contact information to Marie Speegle
MS 103-6 (D) INSTRUCTIONS FOR FIELD OFFICES WHEN REQUESTING STORED RECORDS
- Updated Record Officer's contact information to Marie Speegle
MS 105-14 SYSTEMATIC ALIEN VERIFICATION FOR ENTITLEMENTS – ELECTRONIC VERIFICATION PROCESS
- Clarified that checking for an alien sponsor is required whenever SAVE is used
- Added instructions for how to see if an alien has a sponsor and link to policy manuals for how to handle alien sponsor deeming
MS 108-2 (B) REQUIRED NOTICE CONTENT
- Clarified that all notices must contain or clearly state certification period for approved cases, which can be written in the free form section of the notice
MS 109-5 EDITING AND DELETING DOCUMENTATION FROM CANO
- Updated online link to Sysops page for requesting CANO deletion
MS 121-15 RETURNED WARRANTS / CHECKS
- Changed title to include "checks" for clarity
- Revised note to clarify that warrants / checks payable to the State of Alaska should not be voided or canceled. These should be routed to the BIRU for processing.
