An employability assessment begins an ongoing open discussion with the client(s) that is the basis for assessment, self-sufficiency planning and a productive case management relationship. Thorough documentation of the employability assessment conversation is required.  It is an open discussion with a client that is an ongoing process throughout the application period.  Every interaction with the client is an opportunity for an assessment.

Information gathered from screenings, assessments, and other service providers are used to help the client develop an effective FSSPFamily Self Sufficiency Plan, identify services needed, assign meaningful activities, and provide appropriate supports that promote and assist the participant's progress toward self-sufficiency and independence from Temporary Assistance.
