1027-1           GENERAL ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES DURING NJD

Throughout the entire negotiation phase the JD has a primary responsibility to communicate with the job seeker as needed and appropriate. It is also important to note the critical role of the WSCM, the FFF and the FST. The WSCM will have regular access, along with the FFF to CMS. They will review progress toward negotiated employment and contact the JD as is necessary. The same is true for the JD to reciprocate communication regarding job seeker progress or obstacles. The JD will be expected to be invited to, and participate in all FST meetings called at any point during the NJD process. The WSCM and FST must keep the JD informed of any situation that may alter or necessitate deviation from NJD. If at any point the WSTA receives any concerns regarding NJD or follow-up from an employer or job seeker, WSTA will clarify procedural expectations in writing to the JD, the JD’s Supervisor, WSCM and refer the JD to the FFF for technical assistance to implement the required action. The JD may contact the FFF throughout NJD to consult and problem-solve issues.
