755-6          FAILURE TO DEVELOP OTHER BENEFITS

755-6 A.     INDIVIDUAL IS REQUIRED TO BE INCLUDED IN THE ASSISTANCE UNIT

If anyone who must be included in the assistance unit fails, without good cause, to apply for and actively pursue other benefits, the entire assistance unit is ineligible. No eligibility exists for any ATAPAlaska Temporary Assistance Program-related benefits.

755-6 B.     INDIVIDUAL IS NOT REQUIRED TO BE INCLUDED IN THE ASSISTANCE UNIT

If the person who failed to apply for and pursue other benefits is not required to be included in the assistance unit, their needs must be removed and the case left open for the remaining members.

755-6 C.     WHEN THE INELIGIBILITY BEGINS

The ineligibility of the person or assistance unit begins only after the individual has been advised in writing to pursue the other benefit, and a timely notice of adverse action has been sent.
