750 FINANCIAL NEED
To be eligible for ATAP , a caretaker relative and dependent child(ren) must be financially needy. Financial need, for a child or family which meets the other eligibility criteria for ATAP , exists when all three of the following conditions are met:
The total amount of countable resources available to the assistance unit do not exceed the resource limit; and
The total monthly countable income available to the assistance unit does not exceed the standards in ATAP MS 775, and
The parent or caretaker relative and dependent child(ren) are not eligible to apply for assistance from a Native Family Assistance Program (NFAP).
Note:
To qualify for a NFAP ,
eligible individuals must live in the area served by that program.
