701-6          CASE REVIEW STAFFINGS

As part of ongoing case management services, Case Review Staffings are required quarterly (every 3 months).  These staffings ensure that families have a comprehensive review of their situation and receive the services they need to help them become self-sufficient before reaching 60 months of assistance.

Case Review Staffings are intended to:

• Ensure the family understands and is aware of the 60 month time limit and is focused on the plan to transition off ATAP Alaska Temporary Assistance Program;

• Identify the issues that are preventing the family from leaving ATAP Alaska Temporary Assistance Program;

• Guide the family to help them resolve issues preventing them from leaving ATAP Alaska Temporary Assistance Program before they reach 60 months; and

• Provide necessary information for planning services. Documenting information needed to plan for the family's exit from ATAP Alaska Temporary Assistance Program or to determine whether the family qualifies for an extension.
