The Chronic and Acute Medical Assistance (CAMA ) manual is now available on the DPA web in HTML format. This version allows you to access the same user friendly features available in many of our other online manuals.
We are making several changes to incorporate new policy, clarify existing policy, and align policies within our program policy manuals. This includes:

OVERVIEW OF CHANGES
MS 900 Introduction And General Provisions
Clarifies that prescription drug coverage is limited to a maximum of 3 prescriptions per month and coverage for medical supplies is limited to a 30-day supply.
MS 910-1 Application
Clarifies that a faxed application will be accepted.
MS 920-2 Alaska Residency
Clarifies that an applicant is not required to be present in the state to be considered an Alaska resident.
MS 930-2 Legally Responsible Relatives
Adds a note clarifying that if a legally responsible relative is receiving TA , APA , or SSI benefits, they are not considered to be financially able to provide support.
MS 940-6 Special Income Provisions
Clarifies that Americorps payments are excluded income.
MS 950 Covered Medical Services
Clarifies that prescription drug coverage is limited to a maximum of 3 prescriptions per month and coverage for medical supplies is limited to a 30-day supply.
MS 950-5 Noncovered Medical Services
Updates referral information regarding inpatient psychiatric hospital services.
MS 960-4 Care Management Program
Changes name from Primary Care "Lock-In" Program to Care Management Program.
MS 970-2 The CAMA Authorization (Coupon)
Changes name from Primary Care "Lock-In" Program to Care Management Program.
