OVERVIEW OF CHANGES
ENTIRE MANUAL
- Removed all references related to HowWe Guide as it is no longer used
- Removed references to SYSOPS website since it is no longer available
MS 100-3 (H) REQUESTS FOR INFORMATION FROM OTHER AGENCIES
- Added Health Management Systems (HMS) next to DHCS as they are the new fiscal agent as of April 1, 2023
MS 100-6 (B) SPEECH AND HEARING IMPAIRED INDIVIDUALS
- Added toll-free number to access services for speech and hearing-impaired individuals
MS 103-3 (C) CASE NUMBERING RULES FOR DPA PROGRAMS
- Added an example under #4 for when there are two parents in the household who are married wanting benefits for their own children, and there are no common children between them, that the same app can be used if both signed it and that we would register two different TATemporary Assistance cases with each as the respective PIPrimary Information Person to their children's TANFTemporary Assistance for Needy Families case
- Added a situation under #6 in which a HHHouse Hold is applying for both APAAdult Public Assistance and TANFTemporary Assistance for Needy Families and separate case numbers are assigned
MS 103-7 CASE TRANSFER
- Updated information about where to send the case file transfer requests
- Added control clerk email
MS 104 STATEWIDE PROCESS MANAGEMENT
- Revised section to remove PathOS and replaced with current™
MS 104-1 FIRST CONTACT RESOLUTION
- Updated where to locate list of office representatives for scanning documents, which is found on SharePoint
MS 105-1 (C) QUESTIONABLE INFORMATION
- Added client statement is acceptable for race, ethnicity, and gender if not questionable
MS 117-4 PRE-HEARING CONFERENCE
- Clarified when a client requests a hearing and submits a signed form authorizing someone to represent them, the agency must conduct the pre-hearing with the attorney directly and not the client
MS 123-1 (B) SECURITY ACCESS TO DOLDepartment of Labor DATA SYSTEM
- Updated procedure when submitting DOLDepartment of Labor access request forms
