We have made several changes to clarify existing policy as a result of policy questions or suggestions from the field. An overview of the changes are listed below.

- Updated the subsection to read “Continuation of Pregnant Women and Postpartum Coverage from other Categories of Medicaid” replacing the wording: “Types of Medicaid”.

- Added clarification of lump sum lottery and gambling winnings along with special instructions regarding notifying the client.
823-2 D The Amount Verified Using Electronic Data Does Not Match Client Statement Within 10% and the Electronic Amount is Above the Standard

Addendum 3 Countable and Excluded Income for MAGIModified Adjusted Gross Income Medicaid

- Updated the outdated Workforce Investment Act (WIA) references to the current Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA).
- Added clarification that Job Corps is a WIOAWorkforce Innovation and Opportunity Act program so the basic living allowance is not countable.
- Added Child Care Stipends as countable
- Amended “Lump Sum Payments, non-recurring” to clarify gambling/lottery winnings and linked to MAGI MS 819-B for special case instructions.
- Added the word “modified” to the alimony clarification.
