1004-5 DOCUMENTING SUPPORTS
Work Services staff uses the following tools to document plans, actions, and outcomes of client activity:
- FSSPFamily Self Sufficiency Plan services needed to complete the plan, must be specific and included in the Support section of the FSSPFamily Self Sufficiency Plan.
- Client notes (CLNOs) in CMSCase Management System document specific support, amount of support, need, and date issued.
Other documentation when appropriate may include budget worksheets, work schedules, etc. Each request must be examined to determine if the participant truly has a need for the service.
- Consider if the activity will progress toward the client's self-sufficiency;
- Consider if partner agencies, natural supports, or non-profits have been maximized; and,
- Consider the urgency of the client's need.
Due diligence must be exercised when providing SSSupportive Services.
Note:
Any Supportive Service provided outside the scope as outlined in the section above must be pre-approved through WSTAWork Services Technical Assistance.
