1001-4          MINIMUM SCREENING REQUIREMENTS

Federal regulations requires that all clients are screened, at a minimum, for the following issues at the time of initial assessment:

• Domestic violence;
• Mental health;
• Employment history;
• Education; and,
• Substance abuse.

The EPIEmployment Planning Interview should be completed before the development of the initial FSSPFamily Self Sufficiency Plan.  Minimum screening requirements should only be used in cases of emergent need.  The full EPIEmployment Planning Interview should be completed at the earliest opportunity.
