1026-5 PORTFOLIO DEVELOPMENT
Many Portfolios will be developed by the JD using Microsoft PowerPoint. The following tips will be directed toward the use of that program for Portfolio development.
The JD may select a theme that best matches the employment setting and the client/job seeker. There are several options for choosing a theme (background color and pattern to the PowerPoint slide). The client/job seeker’s preference for a theme, as well as that which matches the targeted employment field should be considered as the Portfolio is developed.
Each Portfolio is organized to match the uniqueness of the client/job seeker. The JD must establish a flow to the Portfolio similar to a resume.
Client/Job seekers may use more than one version of the Portfolio based on their identified areas of employment (fields) interests. Typically, client/job seekers will need at least 3 versions of their Portfolio, based on the Employment Plan.
