1021-2 RESOURCES FOR THE WORK SERVICE CASE MANAGER
The case manager may consult with the FFF to increase awareness of community services and resources available within each region.
The FFF must initiate meetings to acquaint agency representatives, including executive directors and direct service providers to the FFWS model. The case manager is encouraged to jointly attend these meetings to strengthen community partnerships to help establish FST s.
The case manager may consider the FFF as a resource for written materials and samples to assist both the establishment of FSTs, and ongoing FST activities (i.e., sample invitations and meeting agendas, introductory meeting activities, FST communication ground rules, sample action plans, and transferring action plans to the IFSSP ).
The case manager may call upon the FFF to assist in communications with partner agencies if they show inconsistent response or participation, are challenged with following FST communication ground rules, or show in-effective follow-through on action plan tasks assigned.
The case manager may invite the FFF to participate in any FST meetings to assist in problem-solving, creating action plans and making significant changes to the FFWS client’s services, such as addressing self-sufficiency options.
