1021-2           RESOURCES FOR THE WORK SERVICE CASE MANAGER

• • • The case manager may consult with the FFF Families First Facilitators to increase awareness of community services and resources available within each region.

    • The FFF must initiate meetings to acquaint agency representatives, including executive directors and direct service providers to the FFWS Families First Work Services model. The case manager is encouraged to jointly attend these meetings to strengthen community partnerships to help establish FST Family Support Teams.

    • The case manager may consider the FFF Families First Facilitators as a resource for written materials and samples to assist both the establishment of FST Family Support Teams, and ongoing FST Family Support Team activities (i.e., sample invitations and meeting agendas, introductory meeting activities, FST Family Support Team communication ground rules, sample action plans, and transferring action plans to the IFSSP Informed Family Self Sufficiency Plan).

    • The case manager may call upon the FFF Families First Facilitators to assist in communications with partner agencies if they show inconsistent response or participation, are challenged with following FST Family Support Team communication ground rules, or show in-effective follow-through on action plan tasks assigned.

    • The case manager may invite the FFF Families First Facilitators to participate in any FST Family Support Team meetings to assist in problem-solving, creating action plans and making significant changes to the FFWS Families First Work Services client’s services, such as addressing self-sufficiency options.
