790-7          EFFECT OF CHANGES ON OTHER PROGRAMS

Many changes reported on a Temporary Assistance case may affect Food Stamp, APA Adult Public Assistance , Medicaid, GRA General Relief Assistance , or CAMA Chronic and Acute Medical Assistance cases, even if they require no Temporary Assistance casework.  The caseworker must examine each reported change to determine if action is required for any related program.

The caseworker must also consider the effect of reported changes on a participant's current Family Self-Sufficiency Plan ( FSSP Family Self-Sufficiency Plan ).  The caseworker should notify the participant's case manager of any change that may affect the participant's efforts to move the family towards self-sufficiency, such as employment-related changes, illness, etc.
