758-8 OFFICE OF CHILDREN SERVICES (OCS) EMERGENCY RELIEF SUPPORT PAYMENTS
The Emergency Relief Support (ERS) program through OCS issues short-term cash assistance payments to relative caretakers of dependent children who are seeking federal foster care licensure, or ATAP or Tribal TANF benefits. These payments are issued to eligible households on behalf of the child(ren) for up to 2 months and are considered countable unearned income in the month received if the child is included in the assistance unit.
