758-8          OFFICE OF CHILDREN SERVICES (OCS) EMERGENCY RELIEF SUPPORT PAYMENTS

 

The Emergency Relief Support (ERS) program through OCSOffice of Children's Services issues short-term cash assistance payments to relative caretakers of dependent children who are seeking federal foster care licensure, or ATAPAlaska Temporary Assistance Program or Tribal TANFTemporary Assistance to Needy Families benefits. These payments are issued to eligible households on behalf of the child(ren) for up to 2 months and are considered countable unearned income in the month received if the child is included in the assistance unit.
