758-7          GUARDIANSHIP PAYMENTS

Guardianship payments may be referred to as Kinship Care and subsidized guardianships.  The child for whom the payments are intended may be an optional member of the assistance unit.  If a child is included in the assistance unit, the guardianship payment made for that child is counted as unearned income. If the child is not included, this payment is not counted as income to the family.
