717-6          PROCEDURES FOR EXCHANGING INFORMATION

 

717-6 A.      APPLICATION MATERIALS TO CSEDChild Support Enforcement Division

 

When ATAPAlaska Temporary Assistance Program eligibility is determined and a new case opened, the following documents must be sent to CSEDChild Support Enforcement Division via email dor.css.dpa.birth.cert@alaska.gov within two working days unless the applicant has claimed good cause.

 

 

Note:

If a birth certificate for a child born out-of-state is received by the division after an email has been sent to CSEDChild Support Enforcement Division, the caseworker should forward a copy of the birth certificate to CSEDChild Support Enforcement Division at that time.

 

 

Note:

These documents are not required as a condition of eligibility. However, providing them at the time of application or interview may help to expedite enforcement. The applicant should be encouraged to provide these documents whenever possible, so they can be included in the email of documents sent to CSEDChild Support Enforcement Division.

 

 

717-6 B.      OPEN CASE INFORMATION FROM DPADivision of Public Assistance TO CSEDChild Support Enforcement Division

 

In addition to normal data system exchange of information, the caseworker must inform CSEDChild Support Enforcement Division of the following information via email to dor.cssd.dpa@alaska.gov:

 

 

Note:

CSEDChild Support Enforcement Division may correctly disburse payments to a recipient for child support arrearages collected for months when ATAPAlaska Temporary Assistance Program benefits were not received.

 

 

When a parent or caretaker relative decides to cooperate and completes the necessary CSEDChild Support Enforcement Division forms, forward them to CSEDChild Support Enforcement Division via email.

 

717-6 C.      INFORMATION FROM CSEDChild Support Enforcement Division TO DPADivision of Public Assistance

 

CSEDChild Support Enforcement Division provides DPADivision of Public Assistance with the following types of information:

 

 

The caseworker must act on each CSEDChild Support Enforcement Division report of change within 10 days.
