600-1 H.     DOCUMENTATION

 

The goal of documentation is to establish a clear and complete record, so any person reading the case will understand what was done and why.  Clear and complete documentation is the foundation of a positive supervisory or QA Quality Assessment review, and an essential part of quality casework.   Refer to MS 601-4.

 

Documentation is a record of:

 

 

 

  1. The source of the information;

 

  1. The verification that supports the information;

 

  1. The method used to convert income and expense information into monthly amounts; and

 

  1. Why this information was used.
