5220-3A     REPORTING REQUIREMENTS

The household is required to report, within ten days, changes which would result in the loss of eligibility for Transitional Medicaid as outlined in section 5220-3.

5220-3B     AGENCY NOTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

At the time Family Medicaid is terminated and Transitional Medicaid approved, the agency must notify the household of the family's reporting obligations, and reasons Transitional Medicaid eligibility could end.  This requirement is met by sending EIS notice M702 - Transitional Medicaid Begins.   EIS will automatically send a closure notice in the twelfth and final month of coverage.  If for any reason EIS does not send the closure notice, there is a manual notice the worker can send, M456 - Transitional Medicaid Case Closes.  The household is informed that they may reapply for Medicaid.
