120-1          ROLE OF FEE AGENTS

Fee agents, although volunteering, receive a fee for their service. The responsibility of fee agents is limited to:

• Interviewing applicants and recipients of DPA Division of Public Assistance programs,

• Providing necessary forms and brochures to applicants and recipients,

• Ensuring all questions are answered on the application or recertification form,

• Gathering client information and verification needed for the application or recertification, and

• Submitting the application or recertification along with the necessary paperwork to the nearest DPA Division of Public Assistance office.
