Blind or disabled individuals must be at least 18 years old to be eligible for APA benefits. APA considers an individual to have reached age 18 on the day before his or her 18th birthday.
Individuals who are not blind or disabled must be at least 65 years old to be eligible for APA benefits. APA considers an individual to have reached age 65 on the day before his or her 65th birthday.
