122-7          OUT-OF-STATE ADDRESSES

There may be circumstances where a client will be out of state for a period of time as allowed by specific program policies. Quest cards will be mailed to the address in EISEligibility Information System.

However, Eligibility Technicians need to remember that benefits cannot be issued to a case with an out-of-state address. Therefore, it is imperative that the address is changed back to an Alaska address once the card has been mailed by the next business day. Eligibility Technicians are required to make a CANOCase Notes entry when this situation occurs.
