The Office of Children's Services (OCSOffice of Children's Services) in the Department of Health is an agency which is responsible for planning, developing, and delivering a variety of social services designed to assist Alaskans to achieve and maintain an acceptable social condition, with special attention given to low-income families.

Services available to eligible families through the Office of Children's Services include:

• Information and referral services;
• Individual and family counseling; and
• Child protective services including day care support, foster care, and homemaker support.

Clients interested in applying for such assistance should be referred to the local Office of Children's Services.
