113-7 QUALITY ASSESSMENT REVIEWER CONTACT WITH THE CASEWORKER
MEQCMedical Eligibility Quality Control, PERMPayment Error Rate Measurement QAQuality Assessment, ATAPAlaska Temporary Assistance Program, APAAdult Public Assistance reviews must be independent and objective. During the review process, the QAQuality Assessment Reviewer will normally proceed without assistance or contact with the caseworker. The QAQuality Assessment Reviewer may contact a field office directly when:
- The recipient cannot be located;
- The recipient refuses to cooperate;
- The case file documentation is unclear;
- The QAQuality Assessment Reviewer found unreported information that impacts future benefits; or
- There's a reference in the case record to documentation that cannot be located by the QAQuality Assessment Reviewer.
The caseworker may contact the QAQuality Assessment Supervisor to discuss the review findings and verifications obtained during the course of the review.
