100-5          AVAILABILITY OF PROGRAM INFORMATION

100-5 A.     PROGRAM POLICY MANUALS

Program and Policy manuals are available on-line to staff and the public on the Public Assistance website at http://www.hss.state.ak.us/dpa/features/org/manuals.htm.

An individual may inspect, study, review, or reproduce all or any part of these manuals. If staff is available and the request for printing does not exceed 25 copied pages, Division staff will print the pages on Division equipment at no charge to the individual.  An individual requesting more than 25 pages of printed material should be referred to the DPA Division of Public Assistance Policy and Program Development section.

100-5 B.     STATE REGULATIONS

Each district, regional, and central office will also maintain an up-to-date copy of all Alaska Administrative Code (AAC Alaska Administrative Code) Regulations governing the administration of the programs.  Public access and reproduction policies for the AAC Alaska Administrative Code are detailed above.

100-5 C.     OTHER INFORMATIONAL MATERIAL

Each DPA Division of Public Assistance office will maintain adequate quantities of brochures, hand-out sheets, and other materials explaining programs, client benefits, the rights and responsibilities of the applicant or recipient, and any other program directly related to Temporary Assistance and Medicaid eligibility (such as Family Planning services and EPSDT Early and Periodic Screening Diagnosis and Treatment).  Any office may furnish such materials in reasonable quantities to any group or organization that deals with or serves recipients or potential applicants.
