MANUAL:  Aged, Disabled and Long Term Care Medicaid Eligibility Manual

We have updated the Program Standards and Pickle Amendment Chart for 2018.  We have also updated other sections that use Federal Poverty Level guidelines for income eligibility.

MS 520-M  Eligibility Requirements That Follow APA

• Added crowdfunding accounts definition

MS 528-A  Initial Case Processing

• Added trust approval forms are now located on e-forms

• Added that only Medicaid Qualifying Trust documents need to be sent to Policy

MS 533  Disabled Children at Home (TEFRATax Equity and Fiscal Responsibility Act, P.L. 97-248)

• Changed Long Term Care Coordinator to TEFRATax Equity and Fiscal Responsibility Act, P.L. 97-248/Specialized Medicaid PAA throughout the chapter

MS 534-K  Example of an Eligibility Determination

• Updated this section to reflect the 2018 Federal Poverty Level changes

MS 534-M  Example of an Eligibility Determination with a Medicaid Qualifying Trust

• Updated this section to reflect the 2018 Federal Poverty Level changes

MS 561    EIS HCB Waiver Codes

• Added Individualized Supports waiver coding

MS 562  Processing HCB Waiver Cases

• Removed process from the entire section which will be relocated to the How We Guide
