The Division of Public Assistance partners with Tribal TANFTemporary Assistance to Needy Families agencies to provide the best possible service to Alaskans living in an area served by a Tribal TANFTemporary Assistance to Needy Families provider. For the most part, Tribal TANFTemporary Assistance to Needy Families programs follow the same TANFTemporary Assistance to Needy Families rules the state follows for ATAPAlaska Temporary Assistance Program. We also do what we can to ensure the client receives seamless service by sharing information, applications, and verification. This chapter provides details on the basic rules for each agency, the areas they serve, and contact information.
