Homer is experiencing intermittent WAN problems affecting State agencies in the Area. AT&T is currently working on the issue. Estimated time to restore and stablize is unknown.
The State of Alaska Service Center has advised us of continuing, intermittent service interruptions impacting State WAN services. These intermittent interruptions are affecting various State Agencies. State of Alaska and ACS Technicians are currently working on the problem. The State of Alaska Service Center will update this outage notification when additional information regarding the cause or duration is received.
In an effort to increase network security the password for all staff and provider accounts has been changed effective January 22, 2003. These accounts are office specific and are used by contractors, temporary and mobile staff for network access.
