1008          EXTENSION REVIEW STAFFING

Case managers discuss the 60-month time limit with clients early and often during their time on ATAPAlaska Temporary Assistance Program.  As the client moves closer to the end of that time limit, planning may begin for an extension staffing to determine if the client meets eligibility for an extension to the 60-month time limit per the criteria listed in ATAP MS 701.

The Extension Review Staffing will determine if the client meets criteria for an extension, the length of the extension and sets the stage for the FSSPFamily Self Sufficiency Plan that will determine the activities in which the client will engage while receiving an extension.
