1006-3          SUPPORTING A GOOD CAUSE CLAIM

 

When a client has discussed a situation that may be considered good cause, the Work Services case manager will support the client in collecting the documentation necessary for explaining good cause. The caseworker will confirm whether their situation meets the criteria and that there is adequate documentation. 

 

Case manager actions:

 

  1. Enter a Client Note (CLNOClient Notes) and Case Note (CANOCase Note) documenting the good cause reason.
  2. Send the request to and supporting documentation through the DPA Secure Document Portal.
